Counting of Date Cube

Hello everybody,

i have two cubes:

1. Artikelspektrum Maschine —> SIngle Cube

2. Artikelspektrium Maschine letztes Datum (Last Date) —> Date Cube

—> insteresting information for me

Both have two entities: Article, Machine

The 373 means, that the G220 has 373 Article.

The second cube has also 373 entries for G220. I can see this when I drill down to the articles

Is there a way to count the day cube so that I directly see the 373 in the layout?

This would reduce this setup to one cube which I can use for two purposes:

1. Counting the articles on this machine

2. Seeing the last production date of an article on a machine

thank you for your quick response.

I didn't knew that the date cubes cannot be aggregated.

Then I will do it in another way with two cubes.

Hello @Simon Eich

aggregate function counting can only be done on number cubes.

Please keep also in mind that Date cubes are not aggregated, so it is displaying a random date from the available values, which might not be the latest one
