Row Template/Block Format Question

HI!

we do have P&L reports with ACT, BUD and PY columns and some abs./% deviation columns. Currently we do have a row template highlighting specific rows with colour and bold numbers (e.g. Gross Profit I, Gross Profit II etc.) - we now need to make the numbers in %dev.-columns in cursive, but this is not working at all. With the block format I only can change all numbers into cursive, even though I select the specific columns on the top - it's not possible to change it for 3 specific columns only.

Any ideas or someone who was able to do a setting like this??

Hi Barbara, what problems are you having with getting this working exactly? It should be possible to combine both a row template and a block template on the same data view, which is what it sounds like you want to do.

In my example here I have a row template which is changing the appearance of the whole row for a couple of rows

I've then applied that to my data view but also specified in the Block Format that the % variance column should have a % sign and 2dp

and this is what I get, both have been applied as I wanted
