Rules not working in DF

Hi,

I have a case when I tried to populate a cube by using rules in a Dataflow.

It used to work before, and the rule still applied correctly in the dataview.

However, it stopped working in the DF steps in procedure, which using the exact same rule as in the dataview.

I tried to remove all the formula setup in unrelated entity members (to avoid the case that rule might not break in any of those unrelated members), but it still not working.

Do any of you have suggestions? We are on Board 14.5 version.

Hi Phuong, I'm not aware of any known bugs with this, it's quite a common thing to write rules back that way and I can't recall any customers having that issue with 14.5.

The most common causes of a rule not working properly are divide by zero errors (if you have a formula along the lines of [003] = [002] / [001] try changing it to [003] = if([001]=0,0,[002]/[001]) to void the issue, alternatively if you have anything like an offset in your rule which won't work with a data flow, you said it was working before so I'd assume not but just in case.

If you still can't get it working by all means post the rule and some screenshots of the data flow here and I can take a look.
