enable broadcast / mailserver feature

Hi board members,

 

we would like to use the mail function in board. I tested it with several smtp accounts (e.g. gmail) and still got the same useless error: "Procedure usermail failed" (without any further log informations).

 

Are they any hints and tips?

Dear Paul Stegmann,

 

please check the following things to find the reason for your issue.

 

1. Only when the Broadcasting Flag is set to true you are able to use the feature.

2. If the Flag is set to true please check the folder you mentioned in your procedure step if there is some error file which will help you to find the reason.

In other words, does this mean that the broadcasting function depends on the license and is therefore subject to a fee?

that´s correct, Broadcasting depends to the license and costs a fee.
