RDB Cube contents are not displayed

Hi boardville members,

 

i just copied a database and capsules to our dev server. Everything works fine, but all the dataviews with RDB cubes in behind are empty. I already checked and compared the ODBC settings from booth servers.

 

Any hints?

did you check the cube itself in Cube Window?

 

 

When you perform the Browse, can you see data?

when you open in Screen and check the SQL Log, can you see any information there? 

 

 

Which Version of BOARD you are running? Starting from 10.1 you can also find interesting information inside your board\dataset\log\sqlError_yyyymm.log file.

 

What happens when you create a new rolap cube in the non working environment with new SQL Table.

 

Does this fit?

Hi Alexander Kappes,

 

there are no SQL error log files. Clicking on 'Open SQL Log' shows "ROLAP Log nicht verfügbar.".

We are using the current board version 10.3.0.50924.

I also created a new SQL table with the same empty result.

did you create the SQL table in your SQL database or using BOARD functionality? Can you please check the primary key of your SQL table?

i created the table directly in the SQL database including primary key.

there is a simple solution

 

 

RDB is disabled on dev server only - i will contact BOARD Deutschland for a new license.
