setup colors code in charts from the legend
Hello,
Could anyone help me to setup a color code from a chart legend ?
I don't understand the BOARD error message saying "not a valid HEX string" (see pictures below)
However #29D5FF is an hexadecimal string (Link). What am I doing wrong here ?
Does anyone know a website to convert my color code into a format compatible for BOARD charts ?

Many thanks in advance

Many thanks dirk magerkord, that worked!
Does it mean the rule is to add two "ff" left to the color code value ?
e.g. if the color code value is 123456, the code needed for BOARD is ff123456 ?

interested typ You could also achieve the same by selecting 'More Options' and applying the RGB:
Hex to RGB available here:
https://www.rgbtohex.net/hextorgb/
and RGB to Hex here:

Thanks Phil Marshall, but i cannot find any 'More options' while setting up a color from a chart legend (see the screenshots of message #1 of this thread). Therefore I created this thread to ask.

I see now, that choice is missing there. For chart legends I would stick with converting to HEX and putting the FF in front then. I tested this on a random RGB and FF in front of the generated HEX worked for me too.

Hi,
the normal Hex code are 6 digits: 123456
But as mentioned before from dirk magerkord board is using 8 Digits ff123456, so the first two digits are for the Opacity:
I tried 3 differnt Settings (0%,50% and 100% ) for the same color:

Hello,
Can you please show how you reach the "serie options" window?
I would like to change the color of the bars.

Hi Gabriele Benecchi. In Edit mode click on your chart, click on the legend and chose one of the legend colours to change:
