ASCII Reader file location

Hello,

For an ASCII data reader protocol, I need to load a file on a company share drive.

In the Path field I entered the location (\\servername\location) of the csv file. After clicking Refresh Board seems not to find the file. What am I doing wrong?

Hello Steven,

are you sure that the user from the board engine has rights on your share (or even the file) ?! Seems to be a problem with the access right.

just to share some more information.

I usually prefer have all files in the server.

I saw that in some cases having the files in shared drives may slow the upload and the preview may not be visible in data read / ETL preview.

For these reasons I set some batches using robocopy command.

Such batches are placed at path Board\Jobs and launched as 1st action in Board upload procedures.
