Sample Files for Taxonomies Manager

Hello,

 

This is my first post to the community.

 

Are there any sample files for the v11 Taxonomies Manager? I'd like a sample XML and XSD to help me format my imports.

    Hi Nigel and welcome to the community.

     

    I have only just learned about the existence of XSD schema files and am intrigued.  I have no idea yet as to how I would use them but have found this resource as a start point and one which I intend to review in the coming days and weeks:

    I apologise in advance if this is far to basic for you.  I'd be interested in what you find out as I too am looking at exploiting the full range of abilities BOARD proposes to integrate with other applications and become a true platform.

    Hi Paul,

     

    I can see you're an active member of the community and I look forward to conversing with you more as time goes. I've been reading your posts and checking out screens you post, as I learn this new world called Board.

     

    Yes that's a good start with the xsd and xml. The xsd obviously describes the xml and the xml contains the data you need. Which would be particularly helpful if taxonomies means entities, and we can load entities with this. The nice thing with xml is it's ability to represent parents and children simply.

     

    I'll let you know what I find.
