Office Add-In for Office 365

I tried using the add-in installer for a user with Office 365 but it failed. Running Board v9.

 

Is there a new add-in installer for Office 365 or are additional steps required?

    Dear Ben Campbell,

     

    in general BOARD office AddIn is compatible to Office 365 (installed Client).

     

    BOARD 9 isn´t compatible to Office 2016 and therefore also to the actual Office 365, because BOARD 9 was published before Office 2016 and Microsoft changed their Office registration.

     

    Starting from BOARD 10 the Office AddIn is totally compatible to all Office 2016 / Office 365 installations.

    Hello Ben Campbell,

    To install Office add in for version 9 on machines with 2016 office you may need to add some registry keys.

     

    Please contact your local Board Support to obtain them.

     

    We do not publish them in the website because, as Alexander Kappes said, Office 2016 was released after Board 9. The first official Board version fully compatible with Office 2016 is Board 10.
