Last value function

Somebody can explain the behavior of this Last value function?

    Hi,

     

    SHORT: Last Value: It returns the last value of the series;

    LONG:

    the Last Value funciton "repeats" the last non Zero value (regarding to the time) [keep in mind that board doesnt disinguish between the number zero and NULL, i.e. no value existent ]:

    In our example board has very intermittent time series. So board will repeat the last value, until there is a new one.

    Furthermore the "last value" is independent from "time borders" so it won't stop repeating if there is a new year (Cause the old value is still the last valid)
