Filter / select in Data Flow

Hello,

 

is it possible, to apply a filter or a select on a data flow?

The source cube has different entities like customer, productgroup, product.

Now i want to start a dataflow with a procedure to select or filter one productgroup (fix) and copy the values of this productgroup to the target cube.

yes!

"the DATAFLOW command adheres to the active selections" is one of the "Official Rules" of the Board Dataflows.

 

We deeply analyze them during our "advanced" trainings: if you want, ask to your Board Area Manager more details.
