BOARD Engine not starting

Hi All,

i have a problem with my BOARD Server. After uninstall the old and reinstall the new server version the boardengine will not start.

 

Error message:
Cannot start Board 10 Server. Original cause:  Cannot initialize database list.

 

Can someone help?

    Hi,

     

    which user is running the BOARD service (within services). Does this user has reading/writing access to board\Database

     

    Cause I only remember having this message, if the user running the server doesnt have the right to access those folder?

    Please keep in mind, that after uninstall and a fresh install of the BOARD Engine it will be allways started with the System Account, maybe you used a different account in the past.

    I used the wrong user to run the BOARD Engine.
