What configurations are available in Web related to column widths?   

 

In web, currently I do not see a way of changing or fixing the column widths for drill downs from Chart and from DataView.

 

Any ideas?

    Mike Westley I had a similar question in that I wanted the width of my Row Entity to automatically increase as I drilled from a DataView with short descriptions, to one with long descriptions.  As far as I understand, there is currently no way of getting the width of the Row Entity column to automatically resize, although you can manually resize if you hover your cursor over the edge of the Row Entity column in the header row.

    I received the same question of the customer. They have to enlarge the row entity column every single time because their descriptions are too long to fit in the "standard" size...

     

    For what concerns datablocks which are not shown in main table, but need to be shown in the drill down, you can set the column width by setting the datablocks in the main table (as hidden)

     

    Main Table (Datablocks c and d have been resized and then set to hidden):

    Same issue here, our entity descriptions in lines are always cropped in drill anywhere and drill down 

    => when you are performing the drill down from a chart you don't have the option to configure the width of the entity column

    This is really frustrating because the drill anywhere / drill down is a nice features but users are bored to resize the entity columns each times (and on the web version the option to resize columns is quite hard to use).-------------------------------------------
