Change Time Range Entitie

Hi All,

 

We accidentally added two members to the time range entitie "Year".

Is there a possibility to delete the members without "Clearing the database and Reset Time Range"?

 

Because it is not possible to delete the member manually.

    Dear Robin Slump,

     

    I think there is no other way than using Clear & Reset Time Range function.

     

    The only possibility adding members to the Year Entity is using DataReader.

     

    Please take care before Clear & Reset Time Range doing the following interactions.

     

    1. Perform backup of your database

    2. extract all your cubes using Procedure.

    3. Clear and reset Time Range

    4. Unload the database from RAM

    5. Reload your cubes

    6. check if your data is valid.

    Dear Robin,

     

    i am not sure if it would work but you could try renaming the wrong entity members to be 2023 and 2024 and then extend the timeline of your database from 2022 to 2024. is the only "dirty solution" i can imagine to get rid of those members without clearing and resetting. But only try this on a backup.
