Can I export an Entity row template?

Is it possible to export/migrate Entity row templates across Board environments e.g. from Dev to Production?  Or to a replicate entity of the original?  We have a KPI entity consisting of over 1000 different measures so it would be good to have a way of managing this other than backing up and restoring the entire database.

 

I have tried to export the Entity but this only includes the code and name and not any row template formatting.

thanks for your request.

 

Unfortunately it is not possible to export and reimport entity Templates.

 

They have to be performed for each dimensions from scratch and manually.

additional to my first post. Starting from BOARD 11 our new Transporter Tool is able to transport also Entity templates e.g. from UAT to Prod.

 

Never the less, exporting / importing to another Entity, like replicated or entities with the same name in different databases is still not possible.

Unfortunately we are still on Board 10.3 so the Transporter tool is not an option yet.  But good to hear that we have some options going forward.
