Web PDF Report - Not all pages show refreshed objects

Hello everyone,


I am having some trouble with the new 10.3 web printing option. In general I really like the direction this is heading. But I am facing some issues when I try to print several printing areas. I have a folder container with several tabs, each tab has a "Panel" which is set to "Print as single Object". When I select the whole folder container each tab becomes one page, which is exactly what I wanted. But when I export the screen then only some of the tabs are refreshed, others are showing the objects without any data.

Has anyone else experienced this as well?

    Hi Daniel,

    the print as a single or multiple object settings are ignored in the web printing function. The Folder Container as you mentioned creates a page for each tab. Of course the content of the objects has to be rendered as expected.

    If you have a specific case that is not working as expected, I suggest you to open a support request on our support portal so we can help you on that.

    Hi Daniel Zillmann

    I had a similar cases where the result of the export was the layout.. still being refreshed ! It seems the "snapshotter" does not wait for the layout to be refreshed before exporting the result.

    Hi Etienne CAUSSE,

     

    I was thinking the same and I tried clicking on each tab and waiting for the refresh. I never managed to get a report with all pages being fully visible. As Andrea suggested, I have created a ticket for it. I will share a solution, if there is one.

    hi i have the same issue

    we created a presentation with 10 slide but the pdf does not work and generate random white pages

    I have the same Problem with generating a report from a Folder container. Have you got an answer on your ticket ? Maybe you can share the answer with the community.

    Hi Daniel Zillmann,

     

    I got an answer from the german support Team.

     

    Adding a code line to the snapshotter.config solved the problem for me.

    Thanks, Dietmar! I will ask the support team if they can make that change on a cloud server as well.
