Print as One Object

Hi all,

 

I need you help in configuring printing of a screen with 2 layouts and multiple labels. I have to print it as one object.

I've added a panel in a screen and have added all objects under it. I've also selected the option to print as one object but when I open in WebClient, I only get option to export in layouts. What should I do to make sure I get print option in WebClient which will print all objects in pdf and excel?

Which Version of BOARD your are using? Starting with 10.3 for the HTML5 Client we populated a  very powerful Report Generator.

The Feature which solves your request is the generate Snapshot. Alternatively you can also generate Printing Area.

Hi Alexander,

 

Thanks for the details. I'm using 10.1.2 version, so don't have that option. I do see an option to 'Print as Single Object' while configuring panel in Board but don't see option to export panel. Can you please help me with that?

Dear Neha Gupta,

 

it is not possible to Export a Panel as one Object to Excel.

 

What is your case you Need it for?

 

When your Labels consist e.g. @Entity Function you can try with @Selection in the Layout title. This will be exported to Excel but it is not possible to Export Labels, Dynawrites, ...

By the way, when you e.g Export a Chart to Excel, the Chart itself isn´t exported, it will be shown as DataView in Excel.

To use the 'Create Report' function, we've upgraded Board to 10.3 version. But the functionality is still not working.

Seems like some issue with snapshotter. Following are the logs:

Do you run the BOARD HTML5 Engine or do you use IIS?

 

Do you have installed the new version like described in the release notes? Board 10.3 

 

In the upper link are some informations about snapshotter configuration. I think belonging to this you will find the problem.

 

Otherwise best case will be opening ticket to your support center.

We host HTML5 Engine. I did follow configuration steps but unable to resolve the issue. I've also raised ticket but responses are slow. I tried live chat as well but nobody seems to be accepting request.
