Creating Alerts fo Negative Numbers
Hi I am trying to create an alert in the following way
Greater than -15% "Red"
Between -14.99% and -5% Orange
Between -4.99% and 0 "Green"
Greater than 1% "Green"
Could someone help me understand how the formatting works.
Thanks.
Darrell

Hi Darrell Tucker,
you might want to have a look at this document Alert tab (from the BOARD Help).
As far as I can see, your settings are correct--considering the values you want to compare to are decimals (and not %).
So my question would be "what do you want to achieve and what do you get in contrast to your expectation?".
Kind Regards,
Helmut

Hi Darrell Tucker,
I replicated your request in Board as below:
I think that your alert configuration does not work because of a logic mistake:
-15% is a negative number, so the fist interval should be lower than -0,15 and not greater than -0,15.
Kind regards,
Alessio

Hi Everyone.
Thanks so much for your insights it really helped.
From your responses I can see my error was to enter a decimal point instead of a comma. Once I entered the comma it worked. Probably a rookie error but you have helped protect the remaining hair on my head.
Thanks again
Darrell
