Add a profile photo

Hi Boarders

 

How do I update my Board profile with my photo?

 

  • When I go to the Update profile page and click 'Image' I am given a space that I can enter text into and the circular profile image changes.
  • There is no ability to browse to an image
  • If I update the text space with a path to an image there is no change to the displayed image

 

I think that I must be missing something very simple - can anybody help?

    thanks for your request.

     

    The image is only working for webbased images.

    For my little test I inserted another website into my IIS, pushed a photo inside and linked in the board tab.

     

    For sure Office 365 or external weblinks are also working.

    Hi Andrew,

     

    did a short test with BOARD 10.3 (latest official release) and dirctly after pasting a link with an Picturer (and presseing Enter) zhe small previous picture is updated.

     

    Maybe you can also copy the link to the address bar of your browser to identify if the link is valid

    This (an image weblink) works also in Board 11 - however, many people would probably not have their photos all over the internet?  so, an option/button to upload an image from computer would seem appropriate.
