I have a doubt that just to export a dataview to excel also do we need ms office license to board should be true?

Hi,
depends on the Client, If you use BOARD Win Client, also Excel needs to be installed on the PC, if you use HTML5 an installed excel is not necessary for exporting

I am using board windows client and I have excel installed in my laptop. but I don't have license to access board from excel please see the image. in this case is it possible to just export the dataview to excel.
my fault, I thought you were talking about MS Excel License and not the BOARD Office Addin. The BOARD Office Addin is a seperate License which need is needed to create BOARD layout in Excel, Powerpoint or Word. For an pure Layout Export to Excel this license is not needed

I am getting the below error when I try to export the layout . can you please tell me what is it ?
it seems, that a component is not installed in the correct way.
Should be fixed after running those 2 steps,
- reRun BOARD installation using Setup.exe
- try a repair Installation of MS Office Suite
