Sort by Code in Entity

Hi,

 

assume this is a simple question and that I am missing something.

 

I would like to sort the entities in a data view by code. So I selected "Sort by Code" for the entity:

I am using this entity in my data view but the sorting by code does not work:

image

My layout does not include filters.

 

I would have assumed that sorting by code would give me the order --> 101, 102, 103.

 

Any ideas?

    do you select such items in the order 103-101-102?

     

    reset the selection and try again

    I have one case where it did not work:

     

    Dataview:

    Entity sorted by Code:

    image

     

    Select:

    image

     

    The order should be AMERICAS (Code 101), EMEA (Code 102), APAC (Code 103). There is no 'Sales Office SU' select in the dataview, only in the screen select.

     

    The above mention solutions works on the other data views and graphs I have, only the one in the screenshot is showing a wrong order, anyidea what I am missing?

    Sorry in this case I don't know how to help. Some ideas:

     

    Is there any sorting or layout selection in layout table setup?

    Same view in a new screen works?

    Re-built the same screen and data view from scratch have the same behaviour?

    Hi Daniele Di Lorenzo,
    I found a work around by changing the 'allignment' in the layout.
