Hi everyone,

Does anyone know about this message?
This is the message when I run the Data Reader.

Warning : RBT1826 The value [0] found on column 34 is not valid and cannot be loaded into the cube??

From what I've seen, there's nothing wrong with the data.

Thanks.

I get that all the time.… though it's perfectly normal. I sometimes have thousands of rows that don't load - but a whole lot of zeros still add to zero.

Note that sometimes I'll have rules in the ETL which exclude certain rows - they may also get a similar load message - though I'm not certain of this.

    1) Do you still get the correct result?
    2) Do you have any active ETLs?

Hi, as Andrew rightly says this is nothing to worry about - Board doesn't bother to load zeroes into the cube because they'd obviously have no impact, this is just the way in which it flags the rows which were skipped because they have a zero value. As long as you're expecting to have some rows with a value of zero in the file there's no cause for concern.

As for ETL rules, rows which fail the ETL rule are actually skipped and don't appear in the log file at all.

You only really need to investigate if you either aren't expecting any zero values in the file, or if you get log entries telling you rows were skipped because of a "new" value, which would indicate that you have one or more entities loading in non-append mode where the values don't currently exist in your database.

    Hope that helps.

    Kind Regards,
    Rob

    Andrew,

    Thanks for your reply.

1)The data looks like correct in Dataview.
    2)No, I don't have active ETLs.

    Regards,
    Shuyu
