Adjust Relationships

Hi all,

looking for a best practice to adjust the relationships of specific entities.

I have the following use case:

Publishers are linked via relationship to a respective Sales Office.
Now the Sales Office of a specific publisher needs to be changed from AMERICAS to EMEA.
I was about to do that manually by going to relationships and adjust the sales office of the publisher, problem is that the publisher list has >10.000 records and I don't see an option to search, filter or sort in the relationship setting in Board.

What is the best solution to get such jobs done when you only have to adjust 2-3 records?

Best

@Mathias Flintrop : You can do it in many ways .

    1. Using ATO Enabled feature you map with new entity member.
    2. you can make one parent entity for sales office called active inactive. extract the present hierarchy, then map active status where ever you want to change the existing mapping, and make in-active where no more that mapping is applicable.

second method is helpful when you want to modify in large numbers.
let me know if you need more input.

    Hi Ravichandra,

thanks for the insights I'll take a look at this.

I found a workout yesterday by trail and error.

I created a dataview with the Publisher on the axis and the sales office as an entity object ob the table and allowed data entry.
So I was able to use the filter to find the right publisher and adjust the sales office.

That was a quick and easy solution, didn't know that data entries where possible on entity items ;)

    Best
