Column Resize with a Vertical Dataview

Has anyone found a way to resize columns in a vertical Dataview in the web?

It was possible in the winclient. We converted a winclient developed capsule over, but now we don't seem to be able to re-size AND get it to save.

The column width menu/setting has absolutely no impact, and when you resize in 'play' mode it doesn't save...and I can't for the life of me can't find the spot where the mouse changes to the 'resize icon' when in Edit mode, so I can only assume it doesn't exist in edit mode.

Has anyone had more luck than me?

I'm not sure if I'm happy that someone else has the same issue or not. I was hoping that I had missed something, but based on the lack of response from anyone in support or the community I can (unfortunately) only assume I haven't, that it's not possible, and it's also not being fixed/resolved.

did you test with the latest patch (June 2020) ? there's a mention of the vertical layout in the release notes:

Fixes and minor changes

This new version contains enhancements on the vertical layout settings:

- the alerts are now supported on the web
- the block formatting is now supported

maybe by miracle it includes column size ??

Yes that was big issue for us when working when on Board 11.1 & 11.2 but it's finally fixed in version 11.3 and maybe 11.7
