BOARD utilizing AI (Artificial Intelligence) and ML (Machine Learning)

Hi,

Are there any instances of BOARD utilizing AI (Artificial Intelligence) and ML (Machine Learning) capabilities in any demo across any sector/ industry? We work in the fashion retail industry and have been constantly asked this question in many of our Pre-Sales meetings.

Any help/ lead on this regard is highly appreciated.

Thanks for reaching out. As you might already know Board typically used BEAM as the main predictive engine.

Thank you for posting a question about Board's AI & ML capabilities.

I am not sure about such a specific demo, but let me at least give some direction.

First, there is Board's own integrated BEAM Predictive analytics (ARIMA) and Clustering (k-Means), which are time-series and unsupervised learing techniques accessible in procedures.

Second, with Board 12.0, the R-calculation step was introduced, providing you with the capability to run any kind of ML & AI through R-scripts directly from Board (granted Rserve() R-server must be reachable).

Lastly, with Board 12.5, the the new REST API call-procedure step allows you to call any API with all the scripts for AI&ML in place - giving you the freedom of choice when it comes to programming language & environment.
