Hi Monisha,
several possible use cases are e.g.:
- Having a Blob cube (a) with 5 dimensions. One dimension is the product. The user uploads e.g. a manual (or another document) on product a. The manual is also valid for 20 other products. The easiest way to copy it to those products would be a procedure with two dataflows:
- Dataflow from the Blob cube (a) into a TMP Blob cube (b) without the product dimension
- Interactive selection of the desired target products
- Datflow back to the Blob cube (a)
- Or having a Blob cube (a) with 4 dimensions. The user uploads e.g. a manual (or another document) and wants to spread it over a 5th dimension e.g. customer. The easiest way to spread it to those customers would be a procedure with one dataflow:
- Dataflow from the Blob cube (a) into a Blob cube (b) with the additional customer dimension.
Kind regards
Fabian
