Keep dynamic selection active on the screen when using a selector

Using a cube to dynamically set selection on the screen is a very convenient functionality Dynamic Select. However, these dynamic selections are overwritten when there is a screen selector using a different entity from the same tree (screenshot attached).

 

We want to use a cube by User and Project Category as a dynamic selection so that user access to the projects can be controlled from the screen. We are using "Custom selection script" functionality in the database security to identify the user.

 

I understand there is some workaround by using a procedure on a label to make a sure selection are not overwritten, but it will be very convenient if the dynamic selection stays when using a selector.
