Provide sort order functionality to entity

Our users are missing the possibility to sort entities in a descending way.
E.g. we are using pagers for time / day selection in screens. The pager pre-selects the actual day. The value help for the pager then is ascending showing the "oldest" day at first. If your time range contains many years there is a lot of scrolling needed...
Dynamic pre-selections for the screen help to reduce the amount of days, but still there is always the oldest day on the first place...
Sorting functionality for the day-entitity could be a workaround, but the ETL for sorting is not working correctly for time entitities. Changing the order manually for 2000 days is also no option.
Another workaround is a new time entity on the day, that is loaded with descending keys - but we are running out of these additonal time entities in our data models, since we are also using them to implement dynamic selections for screens (e.g. select the last 30 days / 12 months)...
It would be great if we could configure the sorting order (ascending vs. descending) in the entitiy (as you can decide to use the code or the description for sorting). Maybe the sorting order within the pager could also help for most issues we face in this context...
Thanks in advance!
