Hi R&D,

The current quick layout configuration allows users to hide/unhide all visible blocks within the layout.

I am suggesting that developers should have the option to determine which blocks appear in the quick layout configuration (same concept that exists for entities in the axes configuration).

In the particular use case I experienced, users have 3+ metrics displayed which influence how they edit/input forecast data. Users now have the option to go in and hide any metrics that seem less relevant to them at a given time.

The suggestion above would simplify the view/process since it will enable users to:
  1. Enter the screen with a simplified view (can have a targeted focus on input metrics)
  2. Have the ability to choose which metrics are influential to their input at a given time by unhiding the block

While the users can currently enter the layout to unhide columns, the layout logic can appear quite daunting, especially for the 200+ users in this case

Thanks!
