"Others" Automatically Grouped When Using Keep Top Function

Hello Community,

i like using TOP/FLOP analyses and in many Customers i have implemented BOARD solutions i have come across the following need

 

1. What is your idea?

When defining the Keep Top option, we usually highlight the top or worst performers based on one or multiple factors. This usually leads to “hiding” the “rest” of elements which are not of interest but I would like to suggest the following.

Would it be possible to enable an additional option like “show Others” that would group any other element of the dimension displayed by row, and show it under the “Other” label

So for example, if I am showing the top 5 salespeople and was selecting the “show others” option, I would see 6 elements by row, the first 5 salespeople names and another line labelled as “others” which would summarize all of the other salespeople.

 

2. What specific problem are you trying to find a solution to, or what new scenario would this idea respond to?

• Simplify and enrich reporting capabilities
• Improve KPIing and Top/Flop performing analyses
• ..
