New multiple entities by row option: no totals in separate row, only on expanded groups

Hi,
I would like to be able to remove the totals when I display multiple entities by rows. Currently, I can activate the setting to have them visible in expanded groups, however, I still have the totals. I feel that these extra rows take up a lot of space that doesn't have to be displayed, and it would be nice to get rid of them.
Deactivating "Down totals" in the data layout gets rid of them, but unfortunately, we also lose the totals in the expanded groups.
