1) What is your idea? To be able to confirm whether Board accessed a source system or not when doing root cause analysis for an issue or debugging a Board implementation.

2) What specific problem are you trying to resolve?  An example of trying to do root cause analysis for an issue where knowing whether or not Board has accessed a source system would be helpful includes: When a data reader is run, if Board was not able to access the database and read new data in it, the log still says the action was successfully executed.

3) What workaround have you found or used?  Currently, we try to get this information from source system monitoring and logging and the number of active sessions on the source system (DWH).  This is a very time-consuming process and not always possible.

4) What is your role in the organisation?  I am the Programme Manager for my organisation's Data Programme.  We are developing data services for paying customers.
