What is your idea?
Ability to control the formatting of reports at data view level rather than required to create entities

What specific problem are you trying to find a solution to, or what new scenario would this idea respond to?
In order to create a data view, we bring the entity on the axis. This entity is required to be in the desired structure including the formatting. For example, if we want to have an empty row between 2 members or a label to indicate a certain section of the report, we need to create all these dummy members in the entity and then format them. With multiple reporting structures, we end up creating multiple entities.
The data model should be separate from report formatting. This will also be helpful when working with unbalanced hierarchies. If we allow picking selective members from the unbalanced hierarchy onto the report, format them at the data view level, we can have a cleaner entity structure and can create reports in all desired formats using the single underlying hierarchy.

What workaround have you found and used so far (if any)?
There is no workaround at the moment other than creating multiple entities

What is your role in your organization?
