Entity format with multiple entities within a dataview

There are situations when the customer asks for entity format to be applied when there are multiple entities by rows (for example parents of an entity or groupings of different ones). As we all know, the entity formatting works only when we have a single entity by row, and the moment another entity is added there is a conflict and only the formatting on the last/lowest entity within the grouping gets applied.
The feature I am requesting here is to enable the developer with some sort of formatting option where we can define formats on dataviews with multiple entities at grouping the combinations we see on screen.
This feature should be applicable in collapsible mode as well as in flattened mode

That is a good Idea. Not only formatting the Entity, also define different “Group Formats” within one DataView would be a great feature (E.g. one Group with background black and bold font. The other group with background grey).

Agreed with Nitish as very often the several levels for group by are related to the same hierarchy

Thank you for sharing your idea, Nitish. We understand the need of this solution.
Unbalanced Hierarchies ( ) helps to achieve some elements of the idea.
We are working on enhancements to allow the collapsible feature as part of the new toolbox aimed to release by early 2024. We encourage you to continue submitting your ideas and suggestions in the future, as we are always open to hearing new perspectives and feedback.1
