1. What is your idea?
The Idea is, to have additional time functions to easily get the values for year end and year start, also for previos years.
2. What specific problem are you trying to find a solution to, or what new scenario would this idea respond to?
Independent from the current time selection, I want to display the current “year end” or “year start value” or the Previous Year(s) “year end” / “year start value”.
E.g.:
- For stock calculations
- to compare a value against the last year end value
- …
In my opinion the easiest way would be to have it as a time function.
3. What workaround have you found and used so far (if any)?
There are some workarounds, e.g. pre calculating the value for reporting, etc. But its time consuming seting this up.
