Error 1064 after update of on-premise installation to Board Version 12.5

Hi all, I have updated on the local machine to version 12.5. However, the Board Engine can not be started, stating the error message 1064: An exception occurred in the service when handling the control request. The previously installed version was 12.4 and this was working. Thanks for any hint on how this issue could be solved. Best regards, Patrick

  • Hi Patrick,

    Windows error 1064 can have several causes, usually related to configuration. On the Event Viewer you may be able to see further details on why the service fails to start.

    Maybe your local Board license has expired and it needs to be renewed? Partner licenses expire every year at the end of March.
