Build an Entity

An Entity is the basic building block in a Data Model. It's generally a list of items or Members for which data is stored (in Cubes). For example, a customer Entity may be a list of customers or Members. Entities are the containers where data is stored; the relationships between different Entities, and their Members, determine the hierarchies in a Cube. Follow the directions below to practice the steps needed to build an Entity. You can also go back and forth between the steps by selecting the numbers on the top right of the screen.
