Community's Training Category Is Live!

Customers and partners can easily browse and register for eLearning courses, whether online or instructor-led, in-person or virtual, right from Community!  

The Training category includes: 

• Course Catalogue: review all our training options without registering on the site.  
• Learning Library: access free-to-use resources from our courses without logging into the course, such as training materials, Step by Steps, and PDF tools from courses.  
• Academy Forum: explore best practices and real-world solutions to questions from Community members. 

The Academy welcomes new team members 

Kate Higley, Global Training Coordinator 
Kate’s a perfect fit with her results-oriented and talented marketing and project management expertise, along with excellent organizational and customer service skills to Board. The Academy has already seen her self-motivation, and thrives in a dynamic environment that needs flexibility. 

Megan Anderson, Instructional Designer 
The Academy adds another teacher to our staff with Megan, bringing her academic and deep writing skills to create curricula to teach any stakeholder of Board. Our classroom training programs will have a solid foundation from Megan’s leadership. She’ll undoubtedly get high marks! 

Megan Healy, Project Manager, Product Development 
Full of optimism, energy, and initiative, Megan brings proven organizational, strategic, and communication skills to the Academy. A recent graduate from Marquette University, her self-confidence and critical thinking has established her successful path forward at Board. 

New Virtual Machines for Virtual/Instructor-Led Training 

UK trainers and super users will lead a pilot program of the new virtual machine (VM) process for virtual- and instructor-led training (V/ILT) this month (May 2023). Virtual machines are individual instances of Board each learner uses during instruction to practice building in the actual Board software. 

The anticipated rollout of an updated V/ILT registration and VM process for global training is planned for July. All global trainers and superusers will be trained in June to use the new VM process.
