Hi community,

I'm looking for an overview of all language settings in Board. To be more precise, a documentation of the configuration parameters that influence the language and also the decimal separator (DB language, user profile language ....) in order to make our board environment fit for multilingual use

    Hi Franziska,

    In general, the language set by the user in Board becomes the default language for each new access for both the front-end and the back-end

    There is no specific documentation on language settings, but in the Board manual you can refer to several topics where the language setting may be relevant (algorithm, date cube, smart import, dataset export, broadcasting) to understand how it is treated by default and what setting options are available (if any).

    If you need specific information on a particular topic, please raise the question and we can look into it.

    Dear @Franziska Greis,

    from the Subscription Hub you can define user's Culture that applies a specific number, date and time format to the user's data visualization within Board. If you leave it blank it will applies the default date and time format inherited from server's regional setting.

    One important information didn't find in the manual using Board Cloud solution: The Board engine has to be restarted to make the change effective. 😉
