Possibility to define datetime function formatting
ISSUE: Datetime is always restricted to the cultural settings of the user (or in some cases the computer) that uses it. This could cause issues when, for example, an export of a cube that has a timestamp in it (that was created using datetime) is expected to arrive in certain formatting, but a user with a different culture setting runs it.
IDEA: It would be nice to be able to define custom formatting for datetime function, using general codes. For example like this: @datetime(YYYY-MM-DD hh:mm:ss) or @datetime(MM/DD/YYYY hh mm ss )

FURTHER IDEA: Board should be able to handle "DATETIME_1 - DATETIME_2" in a dataflow in order to compute durations.

Thank you for sharing your idea, Krisztina. We appreciate the time and effort you put into crafting your suggestion.
For the export issue: 'Export data view to file' procedure step, it's culture sensitive based on who is triggering the export but the 'Export dataset' procedure step is by default server culture or you have the option to decide the required culture setting here. Hope this solves the issue you are facing.
For the datetime substitution formula: Custom formatting is not possible currently as rightly pointed so we have accepted this Idea to be part of our backlog and we are evaluating the feasibility of adding it to the development roadmap. We are committed to delivering the best possible experience to our customers, and we must prioritize the features and enhancements that will have the most significant impact on your daily use of our software.

@Christoph Goldner thank you for your insight. Would you please elaborate on your request. Is DATETIME_1 and DATETIME_2 two functions or it's stored in a text cube? What kind of durations are you trying to compute?
This will help us understand the use case better so we can further evaluate the feasibility of adding it to our development roadmap.0
