Hi,

We are trying to use the investment elimination and equity elimination functions in the BFC application.

The output that we are getting is not showing us what we expect.

Has anyone worked with this before that can give us some guidence here?

    Hi Marius,

    Can you explain what you mean by not showing the proper output? In the demo application that I have on my system, when I run the "Journalize" button in the top right, it creates a complementary record to zero out the amount in the reporting unit. Is it not creating this other record, or is it creating this record with a value that is something other than the inverse of the amount?

    If it is not resolved yet, I recommend reaching out to your Customer Success Manager who can support you with the next steps.

    Additional configuration might be required in BFC depending on your company structure and CoA to enable investment and equity eliminations.
