Board offers a diverse array of functionalities and features, positioning it in a prominent and distinctive position within the competitive landscape that spans both Business Intelligence (BI) and Corporate Performance Management (CPM).

One of the standout features that distinguishes Board is its Substitutions Formulas, which, from a technical standpoint, assume the role of variables. This characteristic not only sets Board apart but also significantly streamlines the process of software development.

In the current roster of Substitutions Formulas, we have the following options available for users:

However, the potential for further enhancement exists, and it's an exciting prospect. Consider the incorporation of additional formulas to bolster Board's versatility and address even more specific user needs. The following formulas could be valuable additions:

@Environnement

@License

@Role

@PermissionGroup

This enhancement proposal is not arbitrary; it's based on feedback and requests from numerous customers I've had the privilege of collaborating with. It underscores the practicality and desirability of extending the formula library within Board. With this in mind, there's a compelling opportunity to satisfy a significant demand among our user base.

    Hi @Fethi ZERARA, thank you for sharing your idea!

    We appreciate the time and effort you put into crafting your suggestion, and we understand the need of this solution.

    We have decided to accepted this Idea to be part of our backlog and we are evaluating the feasibility of adding it to the development roadmap.

    In particular: as for the first @Environment variable, I recommend you take a look at the following article which explains how to use @Environment variables. As for the @License, @Role and @PermissionGroup variables, we cannot add them as variables in the Screen, but we consider making them visible in our User Interface.
