Nexel "Summary"
Hello,
I have been using the Nexel feature for the first time and found that when I place a formula in the down total column, the bottom left cell of the dataview changes from saying "Total" to "Summary":
Does anyone know how to change this back?

Hi Matthew,
I believe that this is intentional because after you insert a formula, the system immediately recognizes that this is no longer just a sum of all of the values above. The wording "Summary" is just the shortest and clearest way to communicate that the new row is "CALCULATED RESULT." Does that make sense?

Makes sense, just does not align with my other dataviews.
It is odd that this does not occur when a Block's Summary is set to "Calculated"

Agreed, the wording is a bit confusing here. In this instance, it's just a design choice as Crystal alluded to. You're welcome to add this as a modification via our Idea Exchange page.

If you just want to keep it purely aesthetic, one last-resort thing you could do is just add a label with the wording that you want and then overlay it in Design Mode on that particular table. It's not perfect, but your end users would see the word that you want them to see.

Hi Matt,
Just something to consider: Nexel is a powerful tool, but not very flexible from a maintenance perspective. Nexel formulas and calculations are linked to certain layouts. If you need to change the layout, Nexel logic needs to be replicated.
Board supports a lot of functions that can be used in algorithms, please check manual:
You can also explore the usage of Rules which quite easy to maintain:
Another option will be to utilize available block functions to build the required logic.
Hope this helps,
Anastasia
