In the following I would like to share my favourite ways to learn the Board platform and to further extend my knowledge in Board:

Board Academy:
Take advantage of the courses offered by the Board Academy. These courses are specifically designed to provide structured learning and cover various aspects of the platform. Start with the beginner-level courses and gradually progress to more advanced topics. The Academy courses can help you gain a solid understanding of the platform's features and functionalities.
Engage with the Board Community:
Actively participate in the Board Community to interact with other users, ask questions, and share your experiences. The community is a valuable resource for learning from others who have hands-on experience with the platform. You can find best practices, tips, and tricks shared by community members, as well as engage in discussions related to specific use cases or challenges. This interaction can provide practical insights and help you optimize your practice.
Attend webinars and events:
Keep an eye out for webinars and events organized by Board. These sessions often provide insights into new features, advanced techniques, and real-world use cases. Attending these events can help you stay up-to-date with the latest developments and learn from experts in the field. It also provides an opportunity to connect with other users and expand your network.
Utilize the Board documentation:
While the Board Academy and community interactions are valuable resources, don't forget to refer to the official Board documentation as well. The documentation provides detailed information about the platform's features, functionalities, and technical aspects. It can serve as a comprehensive reference guide when you need in-depth information or clarification on specific topics.

By combining the resources provided by the Board Academy and active participation in the Board Community, you can enhance your learning experience, gain practical insights, and optimize your practice on the Board platform.

For me, the best level of insightful & meaningful learnings have come through support cases, logged in by our customers where I'm able to take a deep dive into the way Board's offerings can be utilized to build and develop, which yield best results delivering on the business expectations and requirements.

Live interactive sessions with my peers and colleagues helped me the most in getting trained during my initial days, where we can execute certain experiments through well-drafted guiding modules.

And finally, whenever new features are in pipeline, we get the opportunity to use beta programmes to get ourselves well acquainted even before an actual official release comes out in the public. This helps in staying up-to-date with the new items beforehand.

Carlos Eduardo Meneses Maran

I always try to keep up to date with all the news and resources offered by the Board Community, e.g. Best Practices, documentation of new patches, articles in the Board Manual, etc. Everything is important to me.

However, I try to choose and research all those articles and resources that I think are or will be useful for my current professional practice.

Two of the courses that I always recommend for first time learners in Academy are Leveraging Board for Business Insights and Board Architecture. Both courses show the power of Board and give a peek behind the curtains of how Board works.

We at the academy are excited to continue developing resources here at Board and we have so many more projects we're looking forward to showing you in the near future. The Platform training series we're wrapping up here by end of Q2 is a great asset for technical Board knowledge. We are also huge fans of Community and it's ability to bring together everyone excited about Board and to help them not only answer questions they may have, but also improve their individual skills.

Personally, I learned a lot from 1) sample applications (for presales) provided by Board and 2) Best practices and How-to Guides in this website. By analyzing the sample applications, you get to know how the applications were designed and programmed in every detail.

I’ve learned so much from the extensive documentation available in the Board Knowledge Base, Board Manual, Board Community, Board Academy, Board Customer Training, and through Board Certifications (100, 200, 300). These resources have been invaluable in helping me find solutions for all my development needs and requests while continuously expanding my knowledge of Board platform.

It’s always a pleasure to meet the Board team at events such as Board Beyond, Board Success Review, Board Customer events.

I also greatly appreciate staying informed about customer and partner reviews, Board initiatives, and new updates through live webinars, case studies, and analyst reports.
