B12 Excel Download - workbook in faulted state

We found that users opening downloaded Excel files (option "Microsoft Excel Workbook for BOARD add-in") always receive an alert that the workbook is in faulted state. The only solution to prevent that, is to install the add-in on the user's PC, even though they are not using BOARD at all.

Is this a known bug and will that be fixed with a future version?

Our version: 12.6.0.2.92430, Excel O365 Version 2403 Build 16.0.17425.20176 64bit, MS Win 11 Enterprise 10.0.22621 Build 22621

Dear @Pascal W.

We do not have any report for this kind of bug, and I just tested on my laptpot (without Board Office Add-In installed) and I am not getting the alert you wrote about.

I guess the best option for you now is to open a case on our Support Portal (https://support.board.com ) so we can check together and investigate deeply.
