Input by Dropdown issue

Hi,

I have set a dropdown input in a cube but I'm not allowed to save the data.

Once I've done the input the new selections is displayed but the text is not displayed in red and I can not see the Save check box icon on the Context menu, although it is abilitated. If I click F5 I get the previous value.

What I'm missing?

    Hi @Jordi Vilamajo,

    How does your Data View setup look like?

    The first row (Advanced Solution) is blank. Could be that you are not on the lowest level, and the reason you get Data Entry on other rows is because you have underlying input, which activates Split & Splat?

    Thanks Samir,

    The cube has two dimensions: versions, on columns, and Portfolio_1, on rows. The Portfolio_1 is part of a hierarchy and has the Portfolio_0 below. But as I said, the cube only has Portfolio_1 therefore I think there shouldn't be an issue, right?

    The Advance cell is blank because it is was closed and the initialize procedure could not modify it.

    Hi,

    While preparing the screenshots I have tested it again and now it is working. Not sure what is the reason as I haven't done any change since Friday when I opened the ticket. I guess a timing issue or an overnight procedure must have done the difference. It is difficult to know now.

    Anyhow it is working, thanks from your time anyway.
