Nexel - Can the formula be triggered on value change of another column

Hello

A column X (nexel formula has been created) has to be calculated when im changing a value on another column (no save data entry).

When i change the value bud-de-% Increase, the formula is not being triggered on Column CY Budget.

Does nexel works only on SAVE DATA ENTRY?

Unless the data entry is not saved, the corresponding value in the Nexel cell/column will not change.

So it cannot be updated dynamically on screen. We always need a button to trigger something. Nothing can be triggered on a value change on screen.

Would have been more user friendly. Sometimes the user just want to see how a % percentage increase impacts sales for example without the need to save it .

Hi @Khaleelah,

Yes the Nexel values get dynamically updated on screen. But in this case, since you have not saved the data entry, the corresponding Nexel column values do not change.

There is a screen property "Save/Undo mode" by which you can avoid clicking the Save button every time you make a data entry . Disabling this feature, will automatically save any changes made to the data entry column/cell thereby changing the Nexel cell/column values.

You need to be careful when disabling this feature cause the changes made in the data entry are automatically saved and cannot be restored.
