Data Reader Negative Validation

Hi, does anyone have an idea why Valid.Rec . would show a negative value? I also ticked the box the log. however it isn't showing up in the folder.

Thanks, Maik

    Thank you @Maik Burghardt.

The issue could be related to 'Replace Time Slice' being applied on multiple cubes in one Data Reader.

I would suggest to split this Data Reader into multiple Data Readers each of them with one or two cubes because one Data Reader can struggle with replacing the time slice across multiple cubes.

Hi @Maik Burghardt, If the Data reader log has been enabled, a log file of the rejected records for each Data reader will be created, but valid records won't be traced in a log file.

If you are on an older board version, it could be just a display issue and the loading process might be successful. Could you please share with me the version you are on ? Also, I recommend you to check the values in the cubes to confirm if the data has been correctly loaded.

    Thanks !

  • 12.5 is the version.

Nothing has been loaded into cubes. Since the log isn't created i am not able to check the potential error.

  • Could you please share with me a screenshot of your Data Reader mapping and the ETL if used ?

  • I think my "issue" was that I linked the Month/Year to the description instead of the code of Month/Year.

    At least it worked.
