Board Academy Launches GCR Implementation Course for Developers

Board Academy is excited to announce the first course for our financial consolidation solution, GCR Implementation. Recommended for learners with intermediate-level Board developer skills and advanced consolidation expertise, this course provides an introduction to the Quick Configuration Wizard and how to implement GCR for your organization with the help of  Board consultants or partners. 

For an ideal learning experience, developers are encouraged to complete at least Level 100: Foundations of Building in Board and Level 200: Building a Planning Solution prior to beginning this course. Advanced accounting knowledge of consolidation is also recommended. This course provides hands-on activity inside the GCR solution for those who are ready to set up a GCR application.

Following step-by-step instructions throughout the course, learners will load data using the data configuration template, the Quick Configuration Wizard. Having mastered the front-end environment and prepared for consolidation, you will then proceed to work within the GCR environment. Learners will be able to use the most common functionalities required for a successful GCR implementation. Pre-configured data sets and training materials are provided within this training.
