L300, Module306: Functional Test 2

Dear BOARD Academy Support,

I've gone over the steps in this module numerous times and looked through all of the posts related to this particular test. I've noticed some of my colleagues as well as other learners getting stuck at this test. From most of the screenshots in other posts, everyone seems to be getting different allocations to these 4 accounts for this store.

Although the issue seems common across learners, I haven't seen a clear resolution to this issue. I'd like to understand what's causing my issue and also determine why so many other learners struggled at this test. Here are my results below. Appreciate your support in solving this please. Thanks!

    Hey ShivDookhoo,

    I compared your data points to the answers we have and they are all different by almost exactly 1.7 percent, specifically your values multiplied by 1.017 would give you just about the correct answers (though not exactly given the rounding involved). I will look into this further, but does the 1.7 percent difference feel as though it relates to any of the values you've put into the instance during the build of level 300 or is there any location/calculation/ or rounding involved that would cause a <2% discrepancy?

    Hi TJ,

    I've followed the instructions for L300 to the "T" so I doubt there's any point at which I would've encountered a rounding error or entered data different to what was required in any of the modules.

    For the sake of moving on, I used your hack and got the required answers but I'd really like to understand what went wrong in my build. If you've got the time, I'd be grateful for some troubleshooting support.
